Bio
Madison primarily focuses her practice on complex litigation spanning several practice areas and industries, inclusive of counseling medical device, pharmaceutical, chemical, and consumer-product clients on individual and mass-tort actions.
Most recently, Madison served on two trials teams defending a global chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturer in multiweek jury trials. Her trial work contributed to favorable resolution of six jury trials in federal multidistrict litigation and state court proceedings. Whether as workup counsel or on the trial team, Madison excels at translating complex scientific concepts into comprehensible points.
Madison’s pro bono practice is varied, including drafting amicus briefings for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of an advocacy group for the disabled. Madison has also represented several sexual assault survivor organizations in amicus briefing submitted to the Supreme Court of the United States. Madison also recently represented a pro bono client at trial in Orleans Parish. She is also currently an adjunct professor at Tulane Law School.
Madison’s work and reputation within the legal industry has led to her being recognized by Best Lawyers in America® and Super Lawyers® for several consecutive years.
Madison received her law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan.
