Bio

Carlos works with various product manufacturers including major pharmaceutical, medical device, and industrial clients on individual and mass-tort actions. He works in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert workup, and trial preparation. He works with national experts to interpret and explain key litigation issues, prepare reports, and develop deposition and trial testimony.

Carlos’ railroad practice includes the defense of employee lawsuits arising under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act as well as the defense of grade-crossing accidents, derailments, and trespasser claims. He also handles various premises liability lawsuits against property owners and merchants in slip-and-fall accidents.

Experience

Prepared several key fact and expert witnesses for a bellwether trial in a federal multi-district and a state-consolidated pharmaceutical products liability action, both of which resulted in defense verdicts for the client.
