The "Top Lawyers" list is published annually by New Orleans Magazine and was prepared by Detroit-based Professional Research Services. Voting for the 2022 "Top Lawyers" list was open to all licensed attorneys in New Orleans. Attorneys were asked to nominate three attorneys, other than themselves, they would recommend within the New Orleans area. The nominees who received the largest number of votes within each category were named to the "Top Lawyers" list. 

All nominees were evaluated based on a variety of factors, including license legitimacy and standing within the Louisiana State Bar Association.
